Volunteering is a fulfilling emotional experience for people of all ages. Episcopal Community Services offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups who enjoy spending time with those in need. Our volunteers find that the relationships they develop with our clients and staff are meaningful and personally rewarding.

In addition, volunteers have an opportunity to learn new skills, earn school credit, gain professional expertise and make new friends.

ECS Volunteer Requirements:

• Must be 12 years of age or older
• Obtain parental consent if under age of 17
• If over age of 18, complete a release authorization for a LiveScan background check

ECS Volunteer Process:

• Complete an application
• Meet with volunteer service staff for a personal interview
• Decide with staff on the area in which to volunteer
• Attend a new volunteer orientation
• Pass a Tuberculoses (TB) screening
