Each year, a committee of diverse and dedicated women gather to host the WomenTogether Luncheon. Now in its nineteenth year, the annual event has raised over $1,000,000. The proceeds from this community-wide event benefit domestic violence programs provided by Catholic Charities, Episcopal Community Services and the YWCA. The luncheon held recently featured Dr. Stephanie Covington, nationally recognized clinician, author and lecturer in the filed of women’s issues, as the keynote speaker. Former NBC San Diego anchor Margaret Radford served as the entertaining mistress of ceremonies. This year’s event, held at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, was attended by over five hundred women and men.
