Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors

Episcopal Community Services held its Annual Meeting at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church in Poway, following a traditional Evensong Service. Fr. Fred Thayer served as the officiant and Bishop Mathes was the homilist. The Coventry Choir of St. Bart’s, under the direction of Dr. William Eichorn, sang the service hymns.

Over sixty attendees were present and enjoyed an update on ECS’ accomplishments over the past year. Perhaps the most moving moment of the evening was the firsthand account by former client Jenny and her adoptive parents who sought assistance from ECS’ Para Las Familias program.

Anne Dick accepted her presidency of the Board, replacing Mark DeMichele after a three-year term.
