 On Saturday, April 26 a group of nearly 200 volunteers from local high schools spent the day painting, cleaning, gardening at three Head Start sites. The Plaza center now features two murals, a trike path and a handmade bench. Children at National City are enjoying a clean nursery, freshly-painted playground and a traffic saftey-themed mural. At Harbison, the windows were washed, playground equipment cleaned and painted and the classrooms vacuumed.
