St. Bart’s Sunday School launched an oatmeal drive to benefit clients of Episcopal Community Services’ Friend to Friend Clubhouse. “We want a project where students can have fun working together, and will benefit a good cause,” said Sunday School Co-Director Tara Pritchett. On Sunday, November 25 the students, along with a handful of high schoolers, gathered to assemble over 300 breakfast packets.

Each plastic bag contained a single-serve portion of oatmeal with a sprinkling of raisins, brown sugar and powdered milk. “We formed an assembly line around the room and the kids just passed the bags from one station to another. Everyone had so much fun!” according to Elizabeth Lammers, Sunday School Co-Director.
