We've received several stories from around the Diocese about scams perpetrated in the name of our Presiding Bishop, The Most Rev. Katherine Jefferts-Schori. They range from someone posing as her representative on behalf of Episcopal Charities, to emails sent as if they came from her personally, usually from an AOL account. 

The Presiding Bishop's office is aware of the email scam system, and is working with AOL. If you receive any correspondence by email from the Presiding Bishop, you can assume it is bogus.
