Opening Reception: Saturday, October 10 (5-7pm)
Gallery Hours: October 11 (9am-1pm)
Acclaimed local artists (and all St. James by-the-Sea parishioners) Paula McColl, Cherry Sweig, and Ann Craig are turning the gallery into a festive art destination with a unique studio sale. Every piece displayed will be chosen straight from their studios—and every sale supports a good cause, with proceeds donated to Bodhi Tree Concerts and Episcopal Community Services.
Exhibiting together so often that they’ve dubbed themselves The Artful Masketeers, the trio invites you to an opening reception packed with flair on Saturday, October 10, from 5 to 7pm. The first 60 guests will receive embellished Venetian masks, adding a touch of mystery and celebration to the evening. The sale continues on Sunday, October 11, from 9am to 1pm.
With artistic influences gathered from near and far, the Masketeers bring the world back to their studios. McColl’s paintings capture the bold geometry and spirit of London and Californian architecture, and more. Sweig’s charismatic oils and watercolors invite viewers to reconnect with a treasured memory. Craig, a fine jewelry designer, presents her original creations in dramatic pieces shaped by her travels and eye for detail.
